Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations
Summer 2011 Sections 'A' and 'B' Examinations
The Summer 2011 Examinations of Sections 'A' and 'B' shall be conducted at 63 examination centres in India and abroad during June 04-10,2011.

The dates June 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 and 10 will be referred to as Day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, respectively.

The examination form and various forms related to Institution Examinations can be downloaded from the download section. Examination form is also available with the 'Membership Pack'.

Photocopy of the Examination Form shall be accepted if copied clearly on A4 size bond paper only. The Examination Form should be sent duly filled-in directly to the headquarters of the Institution with requisite fee of Rs. 2000/- by demand draft.
The procedure for calculating the percentage of marks is based on summation of maximum marks in the range of respective letter grades of each subject and dividing by the number of subjects, including the project work and the laboratory experiments.
Submission of Examination Forms after the last date shall cause automatic rejection of applications. Plea of ignorance in this respect shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

In case of non-receipt of the result of the last examinations for any reason whatsoever, candidates should submit the examination forms within the stipulated date mentioning the subjects in order of preference including the subjects appeared at the last examination. In such case, the subjects for appearing at the examination will be allotted giving preference to the choice of subjects, but excluding the exemptions, if any, permitting to appear in the next subject available in the sequential order of subject code.

The examination fee shall be refunded only to the passed candidates as per rules.

Time Limit for Carrying Forward Exemptions
 
A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations, within a specific period as mentioned hereunder :
Section A : 6 Years
Section B : 6 Years
